Louis the Child Gets a Little Bit Genghis Khan
After watching Miike Snow's recent video for Genghis Khan, I haven't been able to stop humming it to myself. The funky overtures and quietly catchy vocals make for a deadly earworm combination. If you thought Animal was a catchy track, you'd be hard pressed to convince me that their latest single is anything less than that.
Enter up and coming Chicago duo, Louis the Child. They took the essence of the original version of Genghis Khan and transformed it into a chopped up, Future Bass track. The strength of the vocals carries over to the remix, but sound very different over the less funky, but more bouncy reincarnation. Can't fault you one bit for choosing this over the original, but in this instance, I'm going funk over bass and sticking with the original as my go-to...#GenghisKhan
