With the Western Conference Finals culminating tonight in Oakland and the Cavs waiting in anticipation for a Finals opponent, the timing for an NBA finals theme song seems appropriate. Luckily for us, The Roots have time during the day to put a raw, inspirational anthem like Champion. Black Thought did everything he could to assert himself as alpha dog on the mic, while the whole Roots crew backed him up with a forceful instrumental.
