"I’ma Part of the Problem, My Problem is I’m Peaceful, And I Believe in the People"

What is it with Alex da Kid bringing out the raw emotion of rappers lately? First we heard it on Eminem's Love the Way You Lie Part 1, where @EMINEM literally lyrically took the boxing gloves off, portraying a love/hate story that continued on Rihanna's Love the Way You Lie Part 2. Then we heard an uncharacteristically emotionally transparent T.I., who gave a first hand account of how lonely fame can be on the @ALEXDAKID producer Castle Walls. Throw in a solid J Cole Diddy/Dirty Money track Coming Home and Eminem/Dr. Dre's new single I Need a Doctor and you've got yourself one hell of a splash onto the Hip Hop scene the past 6 months.

You wanna hear a rapper take the filter...give a listen to how @LUPEFIASCO goes off about real world matters with some substance, vigorously going from one bar to the next sparing no feelings with his raw opinions. Off top, you knew ish was gonna get real serious when the first two lines are...
"I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit
Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets"
Tell'em why you mad Lupe! (in Mad Rapper voice) Really tho, don't discount the hook @skylargrey delivers as she yet again ramps up the emotion in such a beautiful way. She offsets the fierce tone on the verses with such melody on the hook, it's a perfect contrast that'll be sure to move more than a few units via iTunes. She's on fire of late being on the #1 and #7 track on iTunes currently and that doesn't even take into account this track.
Really well done, heads up for Lasers due out March 8th...
