Haywyre Proves EDM Requires More Talent Than You Think

I don't know if it's a stroke of luck or whether EDM artists are starting to outwardly show more of their skills manipulating instruments. While the average consumer probably thinks that anyone with a MacBook and the right software can make electronic music, there's clearly much more to it than what you'd expect. Previously Zedd did some unplugged versions of songs, then Kygo went all candlelight on Firestone this week when he performed it live. Yet, neither of those had quite the entertainment value of Haywyre playing his new single Insight live in studio. Press play below to see what's up...

Wow! What a diverse mix of tempos and energy. From smooth keyboard led jazz to vibrant drum and bass dubstep eruptions, Insight has it all. There's a lot to like, not only about this track, but the undeniable talent on the keys from Martin Vogt. Would you be surprised if I told you he's been studying and playing the piano since the age of six? Yep, that's what I thought. I'll be keeping my ear to the ground for anything coming out of his camp because I'm finding it impossible to not be interested in him after viewing his in-studio performance...#Insight
