"In the Mornin' When I Wake Up, Tell Me How You Feel"

There aren't many artists who have the ability to rap and sing. Generally you're either a vocalist who harmonizes and sings hooks or you make a living off crafting and delivering 16 bars. It's a big reason why I have so much respect for artists like Drake, B.O.B. and Wiz Khalifa. They all have the versatility to go back and forth with such little effort that they don't usually need to collaborate with others to make really awesome music.

I prefaced this post with all that added opinion about versatile artists because Sammy Adams seems to have been cut from a similar cloth. I'm a bit biased because I'm addicted to the funky house beat on Maejor's Me and You, but Sammy made the track his own on the remix. The comparisons to Drake immediately came to mind when listening to it because of the tone and delivery of the sing-songy lyrics. It sounds like a different track and while I wouldn't go as far as saying he did it better than Maejor, you can't deny how fresh it is. Tip of the cap to Boston's finest, I see you Sammy, keep churning out those hits...#BostonsBoy
