There's Something About Porter Robinson I Really Dig

As I’ve continued to bring myself up to speed on all that is Porter Robinson, I’ve found it really difficult to change tracks whenever Sad Machine comes on. I can’t help but mentally compare the sound to Passion Pit, both vocally and beat wise. There’s a care-free Indie vibe to the song that’s alluring. It’s more of a lullabye story than an EDM track, but that’s also what makes it so intriguing.

You don’t hear to many flute/harp samples woven into EDM tracks, but Porter did it seamlessly around the 3 min mark. It’s like an oasis of tranquil between two chapters in the song. I’ll put it this way, I’ve gone from intrigued about Porter to seriously looking into purchasing concert tickets to see Porter live…#BuyingIn
