Buzz Track: Kid Cudi - Ghost

After one lap around Man on the Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager , this track caught my attention as the most notable beat. Something about the back and forth, somewhat haunting, high-pitched sway of the synthesizer over a steadily marching forward beat gives this track personality. The rat-a-tat tat of the drum beat fits well with the soothing bass, calming guitar, all of which play an auxiliary role to the squeaky synths that dominate the track.

As a bonus check out a performance of the song at none other than Columbus, OH-IO, shouts out the Buckeyes, one love...
Who even knows what makes this song so enticing to me, the lyrics aren't even that engaging, but I keep getting lost in the hypnotic beat. Seriously daps & lbs are in order for Emile Haynie, who produced much of the album for Cudi and was the man behind the boards for this cut.

As an added bonus, it seems Mr. Rager himself went a little HAM! on Halloween, but like a responsible entertainer he had a cleanup crew of bodyguards to clean his drunken ass up off the streets. Tip of the cap you Scotty, a whole lotta superstars with DUI's should watch your video and learn...how to have fun...without breaking too many laws.
Give the track a listen, it's as artistic and odd as you'd expect from one of the more out there Hip Hop artists in the game...

Oh and don't forget to go cop his album in a little over a week, pre-order Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager.
