The Chainsmokers Make Indie Music Awesomer

Simply put, The Chainsmokers can remix the sh*t outta Indie tracks. It's not a mistake that they keep climbing to the top of HypeMachine. They have single-handedly opened my eyes to a lot of bands that would normally be in my blind spot, but doing it in a way that I can relate to. Their progressive house style is refreshing when set to the backdrop of Indie summer anthems like Smallpools latest single Dreaming. I'll put it this way, Sony made a great decision employing The Chainsmokers to remix the track because they took it to another level.

Now that they're becoming somewhat of a mainstay on this blog, it's time you got to know a bit about the quirky duo of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. I've been privy to their consistently entertaining submissions and their knack for writing has given me even more reason to post their music.
