If you've kept up on EDM over the past few weeks you've been privy to a heavy dose of Louis the Child. A few weeks back I boldly declared Love is Alive as a front-runner for song of the year. Then last week they put out Phone Died, their tongue-in-cheek, excuse anthem. This, week they're back on the grind with Surreal, a funky, mellow jam with a vocal assist from RKCB. It's every bit as grown and sexy as you'd hope for out of a new Louis the Child track. Between the soulful undertones and smooth keys, it'll be right at home on your latest Cool Out mix.
