Gods & Monsters Enjoy Chill Trap
As I continue to build fences around what constitutes Trap music, I'm at a bit of a loss with the one below. Usually I associate Trap with loud, energetic Hip Hop sounding beats, but that's being challenged with ViLLAGE's remix of Lana Del Rey's Gods & Monsters. On the other hand, the beat on the remix is a little heavier, but sounds like a lullaby, which fits well with the tone of the lyrics.
