Staying true to form, anytime an EDM artist that I follow remixes another artist that I've never heard of, generally the result is positive. Latest case in point, Seven Lions remix of Norwegian EDM duo Röyksopp's Running to the Sea. The original features the vocals of platinum selling Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør. In contrast, the Running to the Sea remix done by Seven Lions is a lot heavier with a clear dubstep punch. The vocals from Susanne are still the guiding light for the track, but there's a much clear build up and drop repetition. The drop around the 3:16 mark is well worth the price of admission. I love it when great music from overseas is morphed into something beautiful that encourages me to look back and appreciate the original that I haven't even heard of.
