Axwell Λ Ingrosso Are Back With a Vengeance
Back in June 2012, I was among the massive amount of people who were disappointed that Swedish House Mafia was breaking up. The trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello seemed be on their A game with every release, helping take EDM from that genre folks over in Europe listen to all the way to mainstream pop in the US. For those lamenting over their breakup, fear not, their mostly back in a slightly different incarnation.
Shoot, if you're telling me I can't have the trio, I'll take two of the three continuing to make great music. Keeping up with the times, Def Jam will soon be releasing Axwell Λ Ingrosso's upcoming single Can't Hold Us Down in the coming weeks. The track keeps the energy up from the start, showcasing high-pitched synths that take no prisoners with plenty of bass to boot. In the six minutes the duo take you on a roller coaster that has much more peaks that valleys.
