"I Just Wanna Be Part of Your Symphony"

Remember two months back when Clean Bandit released their latest single Symphony with Zara Larsson? It was a pretty chill House track that represented exactly what you'd expect from Clean Bandit. Smooth chords, solid feature vocals, and beat that invites you to dance.

This week Cash Cash gave the track a new lease on life by injecting a bit of jubilant vibe into the original. Armed with a bright chord progression and tribal flare, it has the personality of a Progressive House track mixed with Soca rhythms. Where the original was smooth, this one is much more fun and exciting. Credit Cash Cash, they succeeded in delivering a new sounding track, taking a completely awesome new direction...#Symphony

"Is it Real, Real, Real, Real Love?"

Staying true to form, The Chainsmokers are back on the grind remixing that favorite song of yours that you didn't even know was your favorite song until you heard them remix it. For those of you who don't know much about Clean Bandit, their debut studio album New Eyes was off the leash. Generally you lead off your album with one of your best tracks and I can see why Real Love was the song that they chose...

While the original is a swanky, symphonic groove, the remix takes a different path toward a much more mellow sounding track. After a few listens, the melodic, bouncy synths are what I'll remember about the remix. It's a palpable departure tempo wise from the original, which changes the uplifting tone into a much more soothing vibe. I'll say it again, a big part of the allure of The Chainsmokers is their experimentation with tempos and EDM styles. Sure, they've opened my eyes to a whole arena of music I hadn't previously been privy to, but they also do it in a way invites you to expect the unexpected. Now, if they'd only collaborate with Kygo...#Catfished

Videos of the Week October 24

Ran a bit heavy on the EDM for this week's top five, but I see no problem in that. Starting with the time machine moment where Dillon Francis and friends pretend like they were three years old again. Oh to be young again, eat too much cake, play duck duck goose and play in the moon bounce. David Guetta has now released two teaser videos for his upcoming Dangerous video, which leads me to believe it might be the coolest video of all time. In case you missed out on Tomorrow World, Kygo went ahead and posted his set from the festival, which was a nice olive branch. The most interesting of the EDM bunch was probably the trailer for Baauer's upcoming documentary detailing his experimental ways of making music. Really cool learning about all of the crazy ways he has obtained samples around the globe. Last but not least, your token Jimmy Fallon video of the week showcasing his new and wildly popular egg roulette game. At the very least, we should all appreciate how great he is at making really famous people seem extremely human...#EggRoulette
